Homology/comparative modelling of protein

Proteins which belong to the same family will have similar structures. And the result is that homologous proteins usually have similar functions. With the use of appropriate compuiter softwares, proteins can be modelled. A lot of independent work will be involved here and it is an interesting project due to the fact that it is multidisciplinary (computing, biology, chemistry and mathematics).
